Ok, let's take a look at the video first. There's a brief introduction and after that four harsh noise live shows (all between a little less than 10 and 15 minutes). They're all quite similar, there's a guy with some hand-held device that he shakes spastically (and moves himself spastically at the same time) and manipulates the sound and feedback with a small table of effect processors. The sound is kind of Japanese (you know what I mean), and quite dynamic for a live show. This is by no means a revelation, but very entertaining for a noise fan, especially as there are never too much noise videos around. There's only one camera angle used (in the 4th one the camera moves around a little), and the picture is standard video quality, ie. not super-sharp, but not too messy either. I have the PAL version that was released by Cipher Productions, and I think there's also an NTSC version available on some US label. There's one more show on the 3" disc, and that sounds pretty much the same. I guess these are all from the same tour, and that one wasn't videotaped. The sound quality is good, but on the other hand you can hear the audience shouts clearly, so I'm not sure if it's the video camera sound or taken from a mixing board. Very limited edition (was it 20 copies or so?), but worth hunting down if you're into noise.
