What's ironic about the whole myth of the blood libel, the concept that Jews (among others) kidnap racially pure little toddler, drain them of blood and use them in their own nefarious rituals, is that Roman pagans thought Christians where doing the exact same thing with their "blood of Christ" rituals, prior of course to Constantine. The relish for blood throughout human history as a symbol finds itself too often imposed onto the real world. It's been one of many convenient excuses for land grabs, racial pogroms and general diplomacy for centuries. And now, Chrysalis sees fit to celebrate these mad-cap moments with...a one minute cassette. Not sure even if I've got my sides right; side one, "1141 CE", is the briefest snippet of fairly trad-sounding Harsh-Noise: side, two, "Accuse The Perfidious" has our host breathing hard into a tape recorder as he jogs around for a bit outside with a rather nasty electronic hum just behind him, dogs barking in the background. So, two very brief looks into what sounds like longer pieces. I'm not even sure if anyone can have an opinion on that.
